What does this R7 tail tidy include?

This tail tidy includes the following parts:

  • Plug and play indicators
  • Plug and play LED plate light
  • Plate bracket (standard or tucked design, whichever selected)
  • All required elements and hardware to mount to the frame

All wrapped up in a very well designed box. You'll know what I mean when you get one!

Are the parts included plug and play?

Yes!

We work closely with New Rage Cycles, and discovered early on that the US models and AU models have different turn signal connectors.

Since then, all kits we receive are 100% plug and play components. The plug and play components are the indicators and LED Plate light - these are the only components with this kit that require plugging in.

Will the indicators hyperflash?

No, New Rage Cycles have designed the indicators included in this kit to flash at the correct speed from the get-go. No extra modules or extra parts needed to buy, everything you need is included.

Does this come with installation instructions?

Yes, this New Rage Cycles tail tidy will have either a video or PDF installation guide available.

Is this the tail tidy for me?

Depends on what you're looking for! The New Rage Cycles kits in general do stand out amongst other traditional types of tail tidys, due to their in-house designed turn signals.

If price is something that you're conscious of, New Rage Cycles offer a lifetime warranty on their LEDs, so you're getting bang for your buck.

If you're wanting something a little different from the rest, that'll make your R7 stand out, this is the kit for you.

Can the plate swap between tucked and standard?

No - when purchased, you have the ability to choose the standard, or tucked option. The kit you receive won't flip between the two, it'll remain in a static position.

If you've purchased one option, and really want to swap to the opposite, please feel free to get in touch with us. It is possible to buy these parts separately for a conversion, we can organise a custom order with NRC on your behalf.
