This fender eliminator kit is offered in 2 styles:

  • Aftermarket mounts: Uses 10mm hole mounts to fit most after market indicators. Mounts spaced 160mm apart.
  • Standard: Uses original indicators.

As always, Mustard Bikes kits are completely plug and play, easy to install, and saves you time and money on labour costs, allowing you to plug in and ride on.

What comes in this kit?

This tail tidy includes the below components:

  • The tail tidy
  • LED plate light
  • Link wire (to ensure plate light is plug and play)
  • All hardware included for a successful installation

"We choose the correct size depending on the state you purchase from" - What does this mean?

These particular tail tidys come in 2 sizes, to make sure it can fit a variety of number plate sizes. The appropriate size is selected for you to keep things simple. It is selected depending on the state or country purchasing from.

  • 186mm sizing - suitable for plates up to approximately 190mm wide
  • 254mm sizing - suitable for plates up to approximately 258mm wide

The different sizing is to ensure your plate doesn't cover up your indicators - the indicators are spaced further or closer depending on the above sizes.

If purchasing the "aftermarket" indicator option - the mounts will be spaced 160mm apart for all purchases.

Can I request this tail tidy in a specific size?

Sure! This is usually done on our side to make things as easy as possible for you, but if you have a specific one in mind, please send us an email after purchasing and we'll make sure it's sent out for you.

Is this tail tidy for me?

If you're after something simple that gets that fender off at a great price, this is the kit for you. However, if you're wanting to upgrade your indicators in the future, or have a tucked/flippable plate, this kit might not fit your needs.

If you're going to change your indicators down the line, we suggest the Motodynamic kits. They have interchangeable mounts depending on your indicator setup:

Is this tail tidy plug and play?

Yes! The tail tidy comes with a link wire for the LED plate light, making the whole thing plug-and-play.

Is there installation instructions?

Yes, for these tail tidys, each one will come with some form of online instructions to follow. For these specific R3 kits, you can follow the below video for the install:

Can you explain the turn signal mount options?

There are 2 different turn signal mount options for this kit:

  1. OEM (standard) Turn signal mounts
  2. Aftermarket turn signal mounts

The "OEM (standard)" turn signal mount option fits the original turn signals that came installed on your R3, from the factory.

On the other hand, aftermarket turn signal mounts are for aftermarket turn signals - these are new turn signals installed from either you or a previous owner, that are different from the originals.

This option comes with 10mm hike mounts that fit majority of these aftermarket turn signals. The mounts are spaced at 160mm apart for the aftermarket option.
