Womet.Tech ewc clip ons for the BMW S1000RR are indeed different by design. They maintain correct bar position while integrating seamlessly with the OEM triple clamp, providing adjustability, a rotational lock, and high crash durability. Additionally, they are hinged for installation and removal without removal of the upper triple clamp.

The bar attaches to a hinged fork clamp, separate from the OEM upper triple and the upper triple outer clamp piece. In this manner, they are similar to our other clip-ons, with their hinged clamp.  The hinged clamp facilitates swapping the clip-on assembly without removing the upper triple clamp.  

Bar placement is 10mm forward of OE but at the same 7-degree downward angle.  Billet upper triple outer clamp pieces are included with our clip-ons.  Standing apart from all others, our clip-ons interlock with a slotted feature on our outer triple clamp pieces , allowing them to be locked in position so that the clip-ons themselves don’t have to be over-torqued to prevent rotation.  This locking feature also adds to the crash robustness of our clip-ons, since the bars are secured both above and below the triple clamp
