Installation

The 2014-2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R Blaster-X Integrated Tail Light by Custom LED has been purposely designed to be a direct OEM tail light replacement. The Integrated tail light will install with the exact same fit and connectors - no cutting, splicing, or modifications necessary.

This integrated brake light is fully compatible with this motorcycle. These Custom LED Blaster-X lights will have no bulb-out warnings, diagnostic errors, or fast blink rates. No load equalisers or flasher relays required!

FEATURE: Brake Alert

As soon as the brakes are applied, your Blaster-X integrated tail light will flash one of 11 selectable brake animations.

This alerts all nearby drivers on when you're braking (can be disabled if desired)

FEATURE: Turn Alert

Newly implemented to the Custom LED Blaster-X lights is the turn alert. When indicating, turn alert activates and will make it so your tail light flicks between yellow and NO colour, to add visibility to motorists. Once the turn signal is turned off, the running brake light returns to normal.

If braking AND using an indicator, the red light will illuminate fully between indicator blinks to emphasise braking.

FEATURE: Strobe Mode

Strobe mode is a unique feature only seen to Custom LED Blaster-X tail lights.

The Strobe mode will do exactly that - turn your tail light into a frenzy of bright pulses and alternating patterns! This mode is engaged by grounding a control wire and can be activated at any time. This mode can be used just for fun, or emergency situations for visibility.

FEATURE: Programmable features

The Custom Blaster-X 2nd generation programming interface enables the owner to program the tail light with ease. With this upgrade, the customizable features menu will allow you to change the following:

  • Enable/disable Start up Sequence
  • Choose (and disable) 11 different Brake Alert patterns
  • Adjust the brightness of the running brake light
  • Adjust the brake light brightness
  • Turn on "Demo mode", a mode that activates all functions automatically back to back
  • Ability to restore the tail light to the factory defaults

All of this programming can be used through the Blaster-X Control switch, with detailed instructions included with every integrated tail light order.
